- If you develop web applications but haven't started looking at HTML5 and CSS3, it's time. These technologies are going to change the way web applications work in the future. Things that you used to have to use SilverLight, Flash, or custom/dynamic images for, you can now do with a single line of code. Come see what's coming down the pipe, what browsers support the changes, and what you should be getting excited about.

Jacob J. Sanford has been developing Internet applications for more than 10 years using technologies ranging from classic ASP to .NET to SharePoint and even a little Silverlight and Reporting Services mixed in. He has tried to focus mostly on the concepts of design and usability in web applications and has written or co-authored 4 books on web application design. He is the founder of the Tallahassee SharePoint Experts Exchange for Developers (SPEED) and frequently speaks on SharePoint and design topics. Oh, and he's awesome. Come and see.
